Livestream team presentation, Wednesday, March 19, from 10:30 a.m.
Successful start to the road project
Over the past ten days, Thömus maxon, reinforced by three riders from the Youngstars team, took part in several road races of the UCI Europe Tour in Croatia. The highlight was the four-day Istrian Spring Trophy. The entire team was able to provide important stimuli, gain valuable experience and also impress in sporting terms.
Lars Forster finished the stage race in 5th place overall. Just two places further back, in 7th place, Nicolas Halter caused a surprise. Forster and Halter laid the foundation for the excellent final results in the second stage with a mountain finish in the small town of Motovun. The team impressed as a whole over all four days of the race and finished in a strong 4th place in the team classification.
Näf: “Lets continue like this”
Team owner Ralph Näf was extremely satisfied: “That was a great start to our road project. The whole team, from the riders to the staff, gave 100 percent commitment. I’m pleased that we were able to achieve strong results as a team on unfamiliar terrain. Lets continue like this!”
