Staff – LET US INTRODUCE OUR TEAM
The Thömus maxon Swiss Mountain Bike Racing Team has made it to the top—which shows that the organization is on the right track.
The riders can rely on an experienced team who supports them before, during, and after the races. In addition to the professional commitment of the staff, team spirit is also very important.
The team spends many hours together at the races, on trips, and in the training camps. A good atmosphere is crucial for good performances. Every single person contributes and we are like a small family on the road.
Gavin Black – MECHANIC
The Scotsman in the team loves it fast, steep, and wild. As a mechanic, he is a true luminary who knows every part of the bike inside out.
Andi Oertli – MECHANIC
Andi is the young wild one in the staff team and never at a loss for a funny quip. He also works at our RN Racing Service Course in Happerswil, where he applies his professional service to customers’ bikes.
Tobias Hollenstein – Physio
Tobi works at our sponsor Orthopädie St Gallen and used to be an active racer himself. In his free time, he rides his bike or spends time with his family.
Tamara Marolf – Physio
Tamara also works at Orthopädie St. Gallen and brings so much expertise and experience. With her calm and cheerful manner, she helps the riders to relax.
Bruno Odermatt – Team Cook
Bruno is the Chief Happiness Officer of the Thömus maxon Team, as he is responsible for the physical wellbeing of the team. Bruno spoils us at the races, training camps, and team events with his creative and healthy cuisine.
Coni Näf – EVENTS, CATERING
The strong woman and support behind team manager Ralph Näf, Coni takes care of many things in the team, including catering at the events.
Vanessa Anderegg – Future Circle
Vanessa leads our Future Circle and takes care of the sustainable financing of our young riders
Martin «Kifcat» Steffen – TEAM PHOTOGRAPHER
Martin is the man behind the camera and transports the emotions in spectacular photos to our fans.
Fabian Giger – Assistant Manager
Fabian was one of the world’s top cross country riders for many years and stood on the podium at World Cups and European Championships. Now he brings his many years of experience to the team and takes care of various tasks in the office and on the race course.
Christian Rocha – Media and communication
Christian puts the action from the racecourse on “paper” and delivers the exciting race reports.
He is responsible for the communication of the Thömus maxon team and is the contact person for the media.
Nadia Hutterli-Schiess – Backoffice
Nadia does the administrative work in the background and thus keeps the team’s back free so that the team can concentrate on racing.
