Strong performance by Vital Albin at the Bike Revolution finale
Vital Albin from Team Thömus maxon impressed at the final race of the Bike Revolution 2025 in Davos with a strong third place – both in the daily classification and in the overall standings. The 26-year-old had contested the home race at short notice from training in order to collect valuable race kilometres.
Albin got off to a motivated start and was able to hold his own in the leading group. Two minor technical faults set him back a little in the meantime and prevented an even better result. He therefore settled for a hard-fought third place. The race was won by Luca Schätti, ahead of Dario Lillo.
“It was an intense race with ups and downs, but overall I’m satisfied. My form is good and I’m looking forward to the Swiss Championships in Savognin,” said Albin at the finish.
The national championships will take place next weekend in Savognin. The short track is on the programme on Friday and the main race over the Olympic distance on Saturday.
