At the third race of the CIC ON Swiss Bike Cup in Lugano Vital Albin secured his first win of the season. Albin won the C1 race after a thrilling duel with Dario Lillo.  

Alessandra Keller (Thömus maxon) achieved a podium finish in fifth place at the first Cross Country World Cup of the season. With Mathias Flückiger (7th), Lars Forster (8th) and Vital Albin (11th) the men showed a strong performances and won the team ranking – first time in team history!

The start of the new World Cup season was a success for Thömus maxon. At the Short Track in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, Alessandra Keller sprinted to second place after an extremely strong performance. Mathias Flückiger just missed the podium in fourth place. For the cross-country races all five riders are in the first two starting rows.

At the CIC ON Swiss Bike Cup in Schaan (LIE) Alessandra Keller and Mathias Flückiger take two victories for Team Thömus maxon. Lars Foster as second ensures a double victory in the men’s race. With the fourth place of Vital Albin, the second place in the U23 classification of Luke Wiedmann all riders get a podium place.

At the CIC ON Swiss Bike Cup in Gränichen, the first big race of the new season, Team Thömus maxon convinced all along the line. While Alessandra Keller won superiorly in the women’s race, Mathias Flückiger achieved a strong second place in his much-noticed comeback. Luke Wiedmann won the U23 special classification and Lars Forster and Vital Albin rounded off the perfect team performance with their fourth and fifth places.
