Mathias Flückiger part of the team again

Team Thömus maxon is highly pleased that the Disciplinary Chamber of Swiss Olympic (DK) decided that the atypical Zeranol test result of Mathias Flückiger may not be considered as a positive doping sample and thus his provisional ban is lifted. Mathias Flückiger is therefore with immediate effect part of our team again.

“We are happy that Math is back. He is a central part of our team and a good friend as well. With vigor, we are now planning the 2023 season together. We hope for his full rehabilitation soon,” team boss Ralph Näf expressed his relief after the suspension was lifted.

The case is not yet closed. The team expects the responsible institutions to consider the facts as well as the scientific and personal explanations of Mathias fairly and objectively and to conclude the proceedings swiftly.
