The Thömus maxon trio Keller, Albin and Wiedmann convinced at the World Championships in Les Gets (Fra) in the cross-country race. Alessandra Keller fought for the medals for a long time and finished as an excellent fifth – her best World Cup result. Vital Albin took 15th place in his first elite world championship after a great chase and Luke Wiedmann convinced with 9th place in the U23 race.
In a dramatic short track race Alessandra Keller won silver at the World Championships in Les Gets, France. After a heavy fall, Keller was seemingly hopelessly behind, but never gave up and won the silver medal with a sensational race.
The European Mountain Bike Championships, held in Munich as part of the European Championship, ended with 6th and 9th places for Alessandra Keller and Vital Albin. Both were basically satisfied with what they had achieved.
