The perfect start to the season!

The first showdown of the season at the CIC Swiss Bike Cup in Gränichen went perfectly for Thömus maxon. While Alessandra Keller won the women’s race in superior style, Lars Forster and Vital Albin secured a double victory in the men’s race!

New bike and continuity: how Thömus maxon is starting the new season

The Swiss mountain bike team “Thömus maxon” launched the new season yesterday, Thursday, February 29, at the Swiss Bike Park in Oberried. In the presence of numerous media representatives and partners of the team, the importance of 2024 and the major goals associated with it were discussed. Thömus also presented a new cross-country bike, the “Lightrider R3 Worldcup”. A bike that sets new standards in many respects.

Forster crashes with the podium in sight

Unfortunate outcome of the last XCC World Cup race of the season in Mont-Sainte-Anne (Can). Lars Forster had the podium in sight, but made a mistake shortly before the finish and brought himself down. Alessandra Keller did not achieve a top result, but was able to secure second place in the overall XCC World Cup standings.

4th place for Alessandra Keller in Snowshoe

The start of the second last World Cup of the season in Snowshoe (USA) was only partly successful for Team Thömus maxon. The fourth place for Alessandra Keller was the highlight, but the Swiss champion was not satisfied with it.

Vital Albin wins overall ranking of the Swiss Bike Cup

For the second time in a row Vital Albin won the overall ranking of the CIC ON Swiss Bike Cup, the traditional Swiss race series. A fourth place in the final race in Gstaad was enough for Albin to put on the red jersey of the overall winner. At the same time, Alessandra Keller competed in the test event for the Olympic Games in Paris and gained valuable experience in view of the big goal next year.
