Lars Forster strengthens Thömus maxon

The two-time European MTB champion Lars Forster strengthens the team Thömus maxon. Forster will make his debut in the red colors of the Swiss mountain bike team already on January 2, 2023, at the final round of the Swiss Cyclocross Cup in Meilen. Thömus maxon also presents a new clothing partner with ASSOS.

Mathias Flückiger part of the team again

Team Thömus maxon is highly pleased that the Disciplinary Chamber of Swiss Olympic (DK) decided that the atypical Zeranol test result of Mathias Flückiger may not be considered as a positive doping sample and thus his provisional ban is lifted. Mathias Flückiger is therefore with immediate effect part of our team again.

Double strike for Albin and win for Keller

At the final race of the Proffix Swiss Bike Cup in Gstaad, Vital Albin celebrated a great double success. The 24-year-old Albin won the C1 race and thus also the overall ranking of the almost 30-year-old race series. Alessandra Keller was also on top. The world number 1 won the women’s elite race – her eighth victory of the season.

World number 1 Alessandra Keller stays with Thömus maxon

Alessandra Keller and the Swiss MTB team Thömus maxon have extended their cooperation by two more years, until 2024. This means that the double overall World Cup winner, Swiss champion and current world number 1 will be entering her eighth season in the team structure of the current Thömus maxon team next season.

Alessandra Keller of Team Thömus maxon has won the overall ranking of the prestigious race series ÖKK Bike Revolution with her second place in Huttwil and crowned her already perfect season! Vital Albin was also convincing and finished fifth on the podium and second overall.

Alessandra Keller sensationally wins the MTB Overall World Cup

At the World Cup final in Val di Sole (Ita) Alessandra Keller (Thömus maxon) sensationally takes the victory in the MTB overall World Cup ranking with a sixth place! The 26 year old from Nidwalden wins together with the discipline ranking in the Short Track, which she could already decide for herself on Friday, the double! Keller is, besides Barbara Blatter and Jolanda Neff, only the third Swiss woman to win the overall World Cup. In the men’s race, Vital Albin achieved another brilliant result at the end of the season with 9th place!
