While Alessandra Keller won superiorly in the women’s race, Mathias Flückiger achieved a strong second place in his much-noticed comeback. The two-time European MTB champion Lars Forster strengthens the team Thömus maxon. Forster will make his debut in the red colors of the Swiss mountain bike team already on January 2, 2023, at the final round of the Swiss Cyclocross Cup in Meilen. Thömus maxon also presents a new clothing partner with ASSOS.
Team Thömus maxon is highly pleased that the Disciplinary Chamber of Swiss Olympic (DK) decided that the atypical Zeranol test result of Mathias Flückiger may not be considered as a positive doping sample and thus his provisional ban is lifted. Mathias Flückiger is therefore with immediate effect part of our team again.
